Basement(lower trunk) Latch

Does anyone else with a roadsmith (honda) have a problem with the lower trunk lid coming open going down the hiway?Is there an adjustment?

I had a problem on my Shadow but it has T-handles.

Allen screw worked loose and locking bar came off. And since I normally only lock one side the trunk door flew open. Luckily a cop in Ocean Srpings, MS was behind me and pulled alongside me (after following me for a "nervous" mile) to tell me the trunk was open.

Got lucky and found the allen screw and locking bar inside the trunk and fixed the problem.

I now make sure I lock both T-handles to the trunk and the T-handles are now part of my walk-around pre-ride check.

My motortrike is a pain in the kazoo too. It is suppose to pop open. Some times it works. I have adjusted it numerous times. I am only a few adjustments away from putting a handle on it!
