On my 2013 TG, I notice that the lower fairing vent doors are loose. I had tighten the nuts and I can feel the doors clicking and stay in place when opening and closing. After a long ride, they become loose again with no clicking when opening or closing the doors. Any ideas of the cause?

The mechanisms on those vent doors are a bit "cheap"... as in not well made. One of mine popped off the joint deep inside the lower. I pretty much had to disassemble the entire lower to "snap" the joint back together. Mine are stiff, I can feel the cheapness in them. I will normally run with both of them wide open just to get some more air passing over the heads. Good luck with 'em. Sounds like a fun project to me.

Mine are also very stiff…When I have to open or close them I have to use two hands one on the opening lever and one hand on the flaps if I just pull the lever there’s a chance that it will snap off the rail did that on my 11 Triglide ‘ So I learned on my 17 and 19 Triglide use two hands…
