Low beams

Went for short ride in Ky country and was headed back just after dark and both low beam lights went out at same time. Guess I was lucky high beams did not go too. Replaced in ten minutes and now back on road.:clapping:

I have to admit both going out at the very same time is odd indeed but one going out very soon after the other (within days) is quite common. I always change both when one goes. :xszpv: :xszpv:

I could be one went out and you didn't notice it until the other went out hours or days later.

That is so true, but probably only true if the headlamps bulbs are still OEM. Their lives usually ends mins, hours, or days from another. The other expectancy with OEM, is that out of the package, the probability of them working is extremely high. The opposite is true with aftermarket ones. Even if they are the same brand as OEM. Aftermarket ones will die months, years, or decades from one another. The difference is quality control.

low beams

I have heard this before and am sure they both went same time. While I do not check lights everytime I go out, I always check them before I take off if out after dark and they both were working. Odds are it was as you mentioned, but not this time.

Glad to see somebody in KY is out riding. I hope to get the bikes out in the next week or two.

I check the lights usually before every ride.
