Love jugs

I am close to buying me some Love Jugs for my 2010 Trike. Before I buy much of anything that cost over a $1.00, I try to get other people opinion. I here a lot of good things about Love Jugs, but I am interested in knowing if anybody was not pleased? If so why. Thanks from HOT Arkansas.

How about long term? I've had mine for 7 years and am perfectly happy when you are ready to buy go to Papa Zooks site "Cut-N-Shoot" He is the owner of this forum and purchase from him you will not be disappointed.

My buddy and I got a package deal on them He put the smaller ones on his 09 tri and i put the cool masters on my 17 tri, great investment as far as i'm concerned and he feels the same way.

Installed the Mighty Mights on my 2015 Tri. Coming back from Alabama in 100 degree weather, my engine temperature according to my Power Vision never got over 223 degrees. I can also tell you it made a huge difference in rider comfort. Did the same ride last year without them and it was smoking hot! Never ride again without them.

Bazooka (Randy) here can hook you up. He took great care of me.

I have the Coolmasters on and they work great. But if you are thinking about getting an oil cooler from DK in the future I would go with the mighty mites as the oil cooler will not fit with the Coolmasters.

The Mighty mites either were not out or had not been out long when I bought mine and I thought the Coolmasters looked better.

From the data that DK has collected the Mighty mites do a better job of cooling your jugs.

Agree with all of above comments. I put the Mighty Mites on my 2015 Freewheeler and am very happy with them. They move a lot of air and the quality is top notch. Bought mine from Papa Zook (Randy) and the service was excellent.

Just installed on mine and had my first ride in the heat. They seem to work as said and help keep the temps down on your motor. At a stop I can feel the Hot Air the fans blow out of the right side and I can feel the heat on my right leg. Guess that shows there are working.

We've done quite a bit of testing with the Love Jugs Fans.

We tested both the Cool-Master and the Mighty-Mite.

We tested on Air-cooled and Twin-Cooled, both on 2 wheelers and Trikes.

All the tests results were very similar. Below are the results for an Air-Cooled Twin Cam 2 wheeler.

As you can see in the Love Jugs test results below, the fans were effective in providing significant additional cooling.

.

There were 5 different tests with each fan type.

The first two tests were a combo, showing what the temperatures got to with the fans off, then showing what the temps cooled down to once the fans were turned on.

All tests were conducted the same day, same gas, same roads, same speed, same wind conditions. On all but the last test, variables were 99% eliminated, to give us a true comparison.

On the last test, stop-n-go traffic, it was impossible to keep the variables even close, thus the slight variance in results.

.

We are not selling these, but we do recommend them as one of the components in an overall strategy of taming the heat on both the Twin Cam and Milwaukee-Eight.

If you do choose to use the Cool-Master or Mighty-Mite, we recommend you get them at www.buylovejugs.com, call (346) 800-7946 and if you mention that we referred you, they'll put a little something extra in your package for you.

Key to the above chart:

Amb= Ambient Temperature at the time of the testing

CHT= The front cylinder head temperature as measured by the OEM factory sensor, and displayed on the Power Vision as ET

FC= Temperature measured with a heat gun, directly behind the spark plug on the Front Cylinder

RC= Temperature measured with a heat gun, directly behind the spark plug on the Front Cylinder

So the oil cooler that DK products sells wont work with the coolmasters?

That is correct, I tried for about an hour to get the oil cooler to fit wjth no joy.

I had decide on rhe coolmasters long before deciding to get the filter relocation kit with the oil cooler. Wished it would have worked but I was able use the filter relocation kit and return the oil cooler. I exchanged it for some highway pegs and the stealth led driving lights.

I have a lot of DKs products on my trike and they are all great!!
