The Harley Davidson pages show that the post-2014 horns are '5 Db louder than the previous OEM'.
Other Harley Davidson sites show the post 2014 horn as producing 95 Db (one page claiming 120 Db).
Whatever the truth is about post 2014 decibel levels (95 Db or 120 Db), I do not find it loud enough for certain cars and trucks.
Does anyone know of a replacement that is louder than the OEM horn on post 2014 Harleys (and preferably fitting behind the OEM cover)?
Any answers/ideas gratefully received.

Decibel ratings are meaningless if the distance from the source is not specified.

I installed the motohorn dual track and removed the stock horn. It is considerably louder. Decent product for the money (around 90 bucks)

An air horn setup is probably what you need. I dont use my horn much...mainly for .little kids that wave. These waterheads around here ignore horns anyway. Between listening to that shit rap music and texting on thire phones they pay no mind to horns. Hell they ignore the cops with sirens, lights and all!
