Loss of power after stopping cruise control?

Had the trike about 5 weeks now, no issues whatsoever. Today we're out for a ride using the cruise control when a car ahead starts slowing down. So we braked, which cuts off the cruise control power automatically just like a car, but we actually lost all power. Engine was running, but no power in the throttle. As we were slowing down there was a side road coming up so we coasted along to make it to the road and get out of the way. Upon making the turn and trying again, it miraculously regained power and everything was back to normal. We have used the cruise control many times the past few weeks without any problems. Just wondering if anyone else has ever experienced this, what is it, and was it a fluke or something common? Good news is it goes in the shop for the 1000 service this week so they'll be hearing about it too.

Hope it not like a toothache that feels fine at the dr office. Obviously one of those electrical gremlins givin problems. Keep us posted on the results, I'm courious.

Sounds like it went into Harleys LIMP HOME MODE. Look at YOUTUBE. Will show you how to reset it. Probably loose or dirty connections. GOOD LUCK!

Thanks for the comments. I'll look into these things and also let you know what the dealer says when it goes for service later in the week.
