LL front end kits

Does anyone know of a company or individual that makes an LL front end kit like Triker Troy did? I did do an online search and all kinds of springer front ends came up, and Triker Troys old website for Bettertrikes.

Getting DOM tubing or Schedule 80 pipe in my area is difficult, they have to send out for it, and that almost doubles the cost. DOM is almost $15 a foot, before it's shipped.
I was wandering around Home Depot and got to look at the galvanized water pipe. What do you think?..1-1/4 inch X 48 inch schedule 40... Would that work for a VW trike with a light front end? Or am I reaching for straws?
