A friends husband died 2 years ago and left a Triglide and she hasn't been been able to sell it. Does anyone know if you need a bike endorsement on your drivers license or does NY allow trike operation with the normal license. If you need an endorsement, do you have to take a 2 wheel test or does the state have a trike version?

! She is considering keeping the trike for herself.

NY m/c indorsement covers 2 and 3 wheels. When she goes for her road test, the figure 8 part will be tricky todo without backing up. Practice, Practice.

She will have a restriction as to ride a trike unless the road test is taken on a 2 wheeler. Then thers no restrictions.

Also to put it in her name, she must go to the dmv with proof of death ( certificate) , her id, and just fill out a form. All at no charge.
