License Plate Mounting...

Does anyone have any idea of a bracket that fits the trunk lid on a Motor Trike Trogg kit pre formed holes? I currently have my plate mounted on the tail light bracket but would really like to mount it in the trunk lid where it belongs and the dealer didnt have any idea other thatn to just screw it in. I do not want the plate rubbing the fiberglass and would think that there is a bracket to mount to the lid and then the plate to the bracket. Surely I am not the firts person to run into this.

I personally do not own a motor trike kit , but I would get nylon license plate inserts that fit the holes from any local auto parts store and insert them. Go to local hardware store and get stainless steel sheet metal screws and washers to space the plate and any license trim you may have off of the fiberglass body. I do this on all of my cars including my corvette, never scrathed the paint yet. Corvette is a 1994 so it's been there a while. Cruiser Domestic Model Locking License Plate Fasteners - CRU81230

I do CNC machining, perhaps I can make up an aluminum plate that will fit your license location. pm me a photo of the area and let me take a look and see if I can offer a solution.
