For those of you who changed handlebars, let me see what you have. I find that with the stock bars I have to lean forward and in turn have to bend my neck back. I'm 5'8".

I'm shopping around for my options. I think 2 more inches would put me in the right position for comfort.

Thanks.

Sit in the Trike….Close your eyes put your arms out like you are driving…Then without moving your arms open your eyes and that will give you a idea as to how close you will have to bring the bars to you…..

Here are 2 pics of my handlebars, the black is my 2018 and the 2 tone red is my 2016, both have wild one 12.5 bars, I really like them, have had high bars on my 2 wheelers as well. I know most on here have the 2 + 2 bars either in wide or narrow, most have wide I think because of wrist angle for the bar, hopefully you will get some pics. By the way the 2018 is my current ride, the 2016 I sold and regretted it when I did it.

All for now Trampas

On my 21 TG, I installed Krome Works 2+2 narrow. I’m 5’8”, and 80 years old, the new bars are a very large improvement for me. Easier steering in the twisties, and more upright riding position make a great improvement in my riding experience. I did the bar change myself, routed the wiring inside of the bars, and the only extras that I needed were wire extensions for the left and right grip switches.

I put 14" KST Mayhems on mine. Helped my back and makes turning a lot easier.

Did you have to change out the clutch and brake lines on your FreeWheeler.

No, I didn't have to change out the clutch or brake lines. I also was able to use the stock wiring. The clutch wiring was no problem but it took the slack out of the brake wire. So it's a bit tight but works fine. I was able to pull enough slack to use the stock wiring for the controls but if I had to do it again, I would buy the plug and play 10" extensions for around $30 from DK customs. The extensions would make it easier and save time from pulling wire and re-strapping.
