Well lehman finally replied to my question about wheel well s not being cut the same. from Casey Chase. "What you are seeing is representative of what our current process for the production of that body will yield. Revising the mold and the process is on our list of future projects" basically they are saying we know its bad craftsmanship and too bad.
needless to say i sent them a much stronger e-mail back. can you believe it?

Sure I believe it. If they said they would fix yours then they would have to fix them all. But fixing them all is what they should be doing.

I have a Lehman Renegade and don't have any problems with it, but I have had problems with Lehman itself. Their support is pretty much non-existent and all they will tell you is to go see a dealer about any problem you may have. I dropped into the Spearfish facility once just to say hello and was greeted at the front desk by Miss Crabby. Like...that had to be her name based on her attitude. It may have been Hazel, as in Hazel the witch. In any event, they told me real quick that if I needed something I needed to go see a dealer....which is the standard phrase they use for anything.

I like the Renegade as it is one of the strongest kits on the market. No fender shake, no noise, no leaks and one of the easiest to mount when you build a trike. If I were looking for another one, it would not be a Lehman simply based on their terrible attitude.

I agree, and it is a shame. I met John Lehman when he was just starting out and spent an evening just shooting the breeze. He really made a strong impression on me for being a decent stand uo guy. Sadly, you hear negative comments about his company now.But I'm sure we'll get some positive input..

you know i did not expect them to say we will fix it right away. but they could have said what can we do to make it up. but no theres been no reply to my second e-mail. my next trike will be something else. and no more will i tell the people who stop and ask me about it how good lehman is

All it takes is a change in ownership and or upper management and what was a good company could be a bad company tomorrow or just the opposite.

Local HD/Victory Dealer builds a trike a week. He used to be a Lehman Dealer but dropped them. He had problems with the "new" ownership. In his words, they "became impossible to work with". Too many issues to deal with. They switched to Champion and are much happier. Still doing a trike a week. Lehamn lost out on a good dealer. Tom

It's probably not going to make you feel any better, but I took a close look at my Jackal and the fender alignments and cuts are the same on both sides. My Jackal is a 2007. What year is yours?
