LED turn signals in armrests

TEAM 5150,
I appreciate the info.Had thought about the difference in the spacing of the radius.Haven't recieved my lights yet (and a postal holiday Monday!!) but I have made a cardboard template to layout the spacing.
If it doesn't work I still think I can go to the slot and hope that it looks nearly as good as yours.
Do not recall an item on here generating so much rapid response - maybe you should sell them??
Ride safe and thanks again!

Konrad,
Thank you.I used a 3/16" forstner bit - followed by a small chainsaw file (be careful not to enlarge or distort the holes) to put a small taper inwards.Worked very well. When they are all in they seem to stay in rather well.To glue them I used a nail glue form Walmart-"Kiss"-maximum speednail glue.
I glued a small pc.
of a strip to the inside of the speaker housing first to make sure it held before I started. If you try this I would suggest that after you decide the final length to then find the light(s) that gges in the center of the bend and work from there. The spacing is a little bit different from the rest. After the bend they seem to be uniform in spacing.I made a cardboard template to match my housing and marked it first and then transferred it to the housing -only drill a few holes at a time and check spacing.
Good luck,

I have a Roadsmith trike (2005 GL1800) can someone tell me where the wires are that I tap into to mount these lights? Yep, electronically challenged. :)

Thanks

Thanks, I ran some wires from the rear turn signal bulbs to the armrests - temporary solution but for now it works and it's clean. I did have some trouble reinstalling the seat bolts on one side, still have one I can't get in. You would have thought Honda could have improved on that system over the years - awkward to say the least.
