LED Resistor needed/location question

I'm going to be replacing the incandescent taillights & turn signals on my 2020 Goldwing/2021 Roadsmith trike. There just aren't enough lights on the back of the trike, and the lights that are there are pretty dim. My buddy told me he could hardly see them when he was following me.

I'm also wondering why they didn't make the rear turn signals amber. That would make it easier to see from behind.

1) Do I need a resistor for each bulb (4 of them, or do I need them at all?)

2) Where would be the best location to put the resistors? I'm thinking somewhere under the seat since the light housing is plastic and would melt due to the heat.

You can go ahead and change the bulbs without installing resistors. There is already a brain-box on the trike that isolates the trike conversion wiring.

For turn-signals, you might want to consider the following Big Bike product # 52-952A that can be installed into the recesses in the bumper. Feel free to call us at 800-331-0705 if have any more questions.
