I wish every business operated the way you operated yours. The world would be a better place if they did.
I don't think many business can now days' I was a one man shop, I started out as an apprentice, The first 6 months without any salary... Then the next year at 40 dollars a week. Then slowly honed my trade.
When i finally started making some good money...1964 into 1965....I got a letter from Johnson ''Greetings'' Salary went down to 93 dollars a month, Got a raise in Nam 178 a month... Worked for my old boss for a year or two after i got out' Then i opened my own shop And for many years worked 6 days a week' Leaving my house at 4:30 Am and getting back home at 8/9 Pm... My Credo was finish the job when promised and do it right every-time, Even if meant turning down other work...And thats why my customers kept coming back to me year after year... And paying my relative high prices...
