Late nighters---unite!!!

Do you usually get something?

I have the luxury of hunting on 110 acres that belongs to a friend of mine and I am the only that he lets hunt , beside himself and some of his friends. They don't hunt deer, so usually I am able to get 2 to 4 per year.

That's a sweet set-up. I had one like that many years ago. My friends father sold the land and it is a sub-division, now.

I think I have a pretty good thing going, he has also given me permission to take a guest when I go. I usually hunt all day I use a ground blind, big enough for a chair, so I'm pretty comfortable, I stay dry and out of the wind. I'm going to let you guys have the forum for tonight, I'm heading to bed, talk to you later.

Have a good night. See you tomorrow night maybe.

I'm gonna bail out, too. I'll probably be keyed up when I get back from the show tomorrow. I usually am after a gig. See Ya then.

Yup. Alone again...see you tomorrow night!

Thanks for the conversation, and the fun on the game room forum.

Scott's getting back at us for leaving last night.

Micheal, how far would you say Amelia Court House is from you?

Amelia Family Campground is having their Christmas party tomorrow. I am considering going.
Too much stuff happening this month.

There is a lot of stuff going on this month. We are going to Portsmouth tomorrow to visit my wife's mother. Next weekend my sister is coming to visit, the hits just keep on coming. I guess Scott is not speaking to us, I'm sure he said he was working tonight.

Howdy, you can't ride very far on a tiller. What type are you looking for ?

Maybe a small Troybilt. I just need something I can till my back yard with. We had a bunch of ground moved around by a dozer, and I need to till it so I grow grass.

Greetings late nighters. Just finished a 135 mile ride back from an emergency job site in Trenton, NJ. Didn't plan on being home after dinner. Didn't pack my chaps. Was frost on my seat when I left at 11:30pm. At least I had plenty of layers for the rest of me. Nice view of NYC as I came over bridge.

Welcome to the late night thread! It's cold here in KY too. I had frost on my car as I was heading to work at 11pm.

Stop by anytime and chat!

The graveyard shift was one of my favorites for years. Did it over 7 yrs when i was younger. Weekend started at 8am Fri morning. Hopped on my bike to ride 300 miles to see girlfriend. Then back to work Sun at midnight. Didn't need no stinkin' sleep.
Need sleep now. Goodnight everyone.

I've worked them since '06, with the exception of one quarter of evenings in '08. And I'm old.

Goodnight, and thanks for stopping by!

What's this "OLD" $#it ? You born around '67 of '68 ? I've been married since '68.
And by the way, my hair is NOT gray, it's battleship blond ! :p

I've worked rotating shifts for almost 42yrs at PPG but tomorrow will be my last. It's been a long road to get to this point but I'm looking forward to retirement.

Congratulations Clint. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. This coming March will make it ten years. :wave4:

Old is relative, I guess.

We're part of a vanishing breed. Having a career at one place is becoming unheard of these days. I started with a telephone company and then through several mergers, I retired from Verizon after 32 years.

I didn't get my career job until I was 35. This is the big leagues of what I've done since I was 22. I worked bush league jobs like county jail and a state juvenile facility for 13 total years before I went to work for the feds.

I more than doubled my pay when I started in the prison system. This job makes me fell like I'm poopin' in tall cotton. :D

Do you baby-sit the hard core types, or more like white collar ones?
