Late nighters---unite!!!

Forgot to mention...our Girl Scout Troop has Preteen Miss Kentucky in it. Her name is Jasmine Webb (we are no relation). She has also been Little Miss Kentucky. The likelihood of her being Miss Kentucky someday and advancing to the Miss America pageant are very good.

The kid is involve in everything--scouts, gymnastics, swim team, runs track, and does a boatload of community service. Her mom is a dentist, so they can afford to do all the running that pageant kids have to. Jazzie has been involved in that scene since she was a baby.

Funny thing to mention...she and her mom were on the kids' pageants reality show, Toddlers and Tiaras, that was on A&E a few years back. They also did a show that featured just her when her mom threw her this huge birthday blow-out, that include a circus with an elephant.

Hmm...don't know if I've mentioned it...but you notice I say we are not related, some may have figured by now that my last name is Webb.

Another slow night here on the forum. I've only seen 3 posts other than mine.

I wonder how Zook and his bunch are doing after the flood. Or maybe it's still ongoing. I certainly hope not.

It's still raining in South Texas so their problems aren't over, yet. We've had close to 10" of rain here in North Texas and Zook has seen probably double that amount.

Here at our house, the wind is howling & gusting to about 40mph with frequent hard rain. About an hour ago,I observed what I think was the first ball lightning I have ever seen. As it rolled across the sky, there were about a dozen incredibly loud booms of thunder, about one second apart. Most amazing thunder I've ever heard,it sounded just like an incoming artillery barrage.

Wow. I've never seen ball lightning. I've heard it's extremely rare. I certainly hope the water doesn't rise at your house.

Thanks for the update. Doing anything other than watching the storm to entertain yourself?

Wonder what Frank and Bill did/are doing for their Memorial Day weekends?

Today, we are having a family bbq over at my sister-in-law's house. Should be some good eating.

It's raining once again up here near the northern border and guess where this water ends up? Not good for those down south that's for sure.

Holy cow, just how much water can come out of the sky?? Last I looked at radar, it seemed that Wichita Falls was on the tail end of the storm and would soon be getting the last of it.

'Mornin'. It's been a weekend! Helped my neighbor cut up my tree that fell over on his shed, then my wife and I went on a dinner ride to cool off. Sunday I played at a church down the road that was built in 1870. Started raining when we sere loading out and kept it up all day.

Today the kids are coming over for a cook-out (or in if the rain doesn't stop).

I crossed the Delaware four times this weekend... Milford to Shola/Barryvlie... Then Barryvile/Shola to Milford....

Nice ride into work tonight.Good music to listen to....Life In The Fast Lane by the Eagles and Have You Ever Seen The Rain by CCR were playing on the radio.

Ya know, until I bought the TG, I always thought music on a motorcycle was a little silly. I would kind of roll my eyes when I pulled up next to a bike blasting music at a red light. Now I AM the bike blasting music at the red light, and I know people are rolling their eyes...but I don't care! Now, I really don't know what I would do without the music. Rides sure would be boring.

Looks like the forum has already rolled up the carpet for the night. I'm the only poster at all since 12:17.

Midnight guys are always the lonely ones.

Time to ramble...(like I don't do that constantly anyway).

I like my TG. Saying that, if it were a perfect world, I'd ride a Hannigan conversion with IRS. The TG rides kind of rough for my taste, and it jars my teeth on bumpy roads. I would've like to have converted a Roadglide if I'd had my druthers. I like the stable fairing, and the handlebars that come way back toward the rider.

Got to crash out (bad use of terms probably considering how much crashing your bike / trike sucks) but just wanted to stop by and say that now that I know this is here ill be back . I'm up late a lot . For now night all.....

Looking forward to 'seeing you'.

Good night!

Hi Missedem.
Stop back by, nights or days, too.

Scott. I fell asleep on the couch after the family left, woke up at two, now can't get back to sleep. I guess I'll keep you company for awhile.

Sounds good to me! I've got popcorn in the microwave and getting ready to crack open a diet dew. Rock on!

Last nites BBQ got delayed due to 2 good storms as a cold front came in. Had shrimp on schewers, sweet potato salad, and fresh string beans. Was worth the wate. Outdoor 10x10 screen room kept us dry, followed by a long domino game. Good weekend with good friends. Triking home and back to reality to do it all again next weekend. Tough life !

I slept nearly 16 hours between yesterday and last night. I woke up at around 4am to go potty, and never got back to sleep after. Stared at the ceiling for nearly 4 hours. That was payback for staying up all day on Memorial Day.
