Late nighters---unite!!!

My son has a friend with a Ruger LC9 he might want to part with. I haven't seen it yet, but may be needing a holster in the near future if I like it.

If you like hybrid holsters, this guy makes about the best at that price point. He uses nothing but horsehide for his leather. That's the most comfortable leather against the body, and it conforms to your shape very quickly.

A more famous holster maker makes pretty much the same type with horsehide for $92. They charge $7.50 for a 'combat cut', which he does anyway. He won't sell them without it, because he believes without it, it's not a safe holster. If you actually had to draw quickly, without the so-called combat cut, it would significantly slow down your draw.

The thing about Kydex is if you are careful you can make just about any gun fit. Heat gun and a pair of gloves and force form it to your gun isn't terribly difficult.ThumbUp

Yeah, I bought a glock 21 and did that so it would fit the holster of the glock 22 it replaced. It wasn't that hard. Just took some time and being careful.

Welcome to the thread. Come back anytime. Sometime we aren't just here late night. I'm Scott. Glad to meet you.

The cheesecake turned out good and its half gone. Its easy to get something complex like a cheesecake done when everyone has gone to bed. The kitchen is all mine :pepper:.

If I were Peyton Manning, I would almost feel obliged to play another year, especially since everybody, including the commissioner, are trying to push him out the door.

Know when to say when ! Should stop now while his health is good. I am sure he will still have a Bronco job as a trainer or something, not that he needs the money.

Miserable !!!!
Have had a cold with a wicked cough that just won't let go, for 10 days now :gah:

Been there, I got the takes time and here take this answer. Feel ok, just that the head juices are hangin and dripping (trying not to be so graffic)

Ugh. I know what you mean. I've been very fortunate this year and haven't had any of that. My wife...another story. She just said today that the stuff she was blowing out of her nose looked like a 'science experiment'.

It says you are from the Lower Hudson. Would that be New York? Not to good with geography.

Science experiment, LOL. Yep, good old NY, the welfare state. I am by Bear Mtn on the Hudson River, 35 mi North of the rotten apple. Area native.

Been to NYC once to get on a cruise ship heading northward. Enough to make me want to stay outta there.

Wouldn't mind pulling our camper up to stay other places in the state though. There's just so much history in New York.

It's decent here with the river, riding N or W is very scenic. I never get tired of seein it, plus do a lot of back road exploring with the gps. Only good thing in NYC is lil Italy and the hospitals. They can bomb the rest of it.

Would like to be able to ride my trike up there, but can't. I'd have to leave the family behind. No body to keep our special needs kids more than a couple of hours, and I don't think it would be fair to just leave my wife with them. Only hope is to bring camper up. If I'd known I was getting the trike, I would've got a toy hauler instead of the travel trailer. Could've had the best of both worlds then.

Toy haulers are the bomb. See, you have a quest. Things in life will and can change.
BTW , check out the International 500 snowbile race in Michigan. Talk about hypothermia!

Only way they'll change for me right now is to come into a ton of money. Don't see that happening anytime soon.

And it's another Friday for me.

How is everybody?

I hated 3rd shift but that was 38 years ago. I went from 250 pounds to 175 by the time I got off it. Took a cut in pay and a transfer to another state but I figured at that rate of weight loss I'd be dead an another 18 months. And 18 months was all I was on that shift. It did not agree with me to say the least.:)

Wish it made me lose weight...at least in a healthy way. Been on it since January of 06, except for a quarter in 08. I've GAINED about 15 pounds in that time. But, if I could get off it, I would. My favorite shift is evenings, just can't do it because I can't keep the kid while my wife is at work. Midnights is the only shift that is possible to accomplish that.

Oh yeah. I absolutely loved second shift. Got to close every bar in town in a weeks time that shift. Different one each night:D

Working O/T tonight. Would have rather stayed home, but $350 was too tempting. Should go really good with a holiday on the next check as well.

On top of everything else, had taxes done on Tuesday. Got a big refund coming back *WOOT*
