K&N Air Filter

I just replaced the stock air filter with the K&N reusable air filter. I am curious how many other have made this change and can you fill me on your impressions after using it.

Most after mkt AF's use them. If using on fuel injection, oil up very spairingly as not to get any oil on the mass air sensor

I put one on mine and believe there is better breathing and better power. I'm going to check with DK Customs to see if they make a backplate that will work with the stock ac cover. DK's backplate eliminates the hose that allows hot gases going into the ac.

Thanks Kevin. I'll call your business first of the week unless you'll be in the shop tomorrow. I'd like to go over what my FW already has and see what you have that can take it to the stage 1 plus, I believe you call it. I noticed in the description of your ac it mentioned choice of external breather systems. I'll look on the link and check out the options. Sorry to OP, didn't mean to high jack thread.

I use it this season together with this air cleaner cover.

Feels like better breathing and does not make this loud air suction noise (probably only a Europe model issue).
