Just ordered a new Motor Trike kit

I only have 1500 miles on my trike and the leaking seals were more then likely just another thing the PO didnt seem to care about.
After all it was under warranty and a Austin Texas bike.
Easily within riding distance from MT itself.
My problems are all self made, I didnt do my homework and buy the right bike for me.
For what it is and my limited experience with the GoldWing which is the part Im having my personal differences about.
The MT half is aces.Just on the wrong bike for me.

Lenny look at this all in a very simple light.
Over the years how many cars have you bought just based on liking the way it looks??
Did or have you ever been concerned Ooooh this car is going to be a Lemon before even taking ownership??
No of course not.

More then likely your going to be happy as can be with your decision and enjoy the crap out of the trike..........
Even Im learning to like the GW part........ To a degree.
It aint a V-Twin..............Ill get used that...........eventually.

Just put all this negative crap out of your mind and dont second guess yourself on what more then likely will put alot of miles and smiles on your face.

Wow!! this just keeps getting scarier:gah: Has anybody had a positive install? I hope that Motor Trike is reading some of these comments I believe if there were they would probably defend themselves and there dealers. Obviously they don't read the boards, I am hoping my experience will not be as bad as some of yours, my installer is 6 hours away from my home but I do not have a problem camping out on his doorstep should there be a problem.

Lenny. I was not trying to discourage you at all. Just replying to a couple threads about it being a bolt on installation as well as your questioning what could be messed up about a bolt on. If you have a good installation, you will be very happy with the MT adventure. My friend now has all the bugs worked out of his after the bad job by the installer and he is perfectly happy. I have ridden it and it rides great.

Our Honda of Sumter requires 10% down and the balance on acepted delivery I had one issue a lose cover which was repaired on the spot. The kit was a Champion.
