Looks like It’s time for a new battery, but in the mean time, can I use one of those little battery jump packs hooked up thru my factory battery tender plug, to boost my tri glide without damaging anything?

please explain that one...
The charging system(alternators) on cars and trucks with the engine running can sometimes over power a motorcycle charging system… Better safe than sorry…
Too high of amperage from a running vehicle![]()

where did you find that ??And is the wire heavy enough ?
The answer is yes, they are heavy enough - this is exactly what they are made for. It also comes with a connector, so you can attach it to your tender and charge from there

Able to keep my generator in garage.. Runs whole house ,if elec goes out Just wheel it out the garage door. It has a battery back-up to open..
My panel is just inside the Garage door. Run the cord out the door, fire it up & close the door. Cost about the same for switches & install. If I ever have to replace, I will go with the auto system ,now available for natural gas. Much easier for old farts like me.![]()
Hopefully, you will not have to replace it.
I looked into the natural gas one that is automatic...well, hold your back pocket - that thing installed is about $13,000. My sister in Virginia has one and several folks in our neighborhood has them.
We lose power maybe 3-4 times per year. Since mine is already outside, it is just a matter of hitting the switch.
Were you able to order that cable?

Got the cable ordered... not sure which jump pack though. One place I looked the 1500 was OUT. Is this preferred ??
I have one of these - this way, can also use it on my truck if needed.
