I made the jump yesterday, or actually tomorrow when the bank opens but agreed to buy it and closing the deal at 2pm tomorrow and riding it home. I was leaning towards a new 2015 but the price was hard to swallow and I found a great deal I couldn't pass up on a 2009. The way I see it if I don't like it I can sell it and get another since they hold their value so well. Now to paint my white Aluma trailer black, install a hitch, and do some work on the backrest to fit the misses better.

Hard to beat black, thats what my mine is. Have you thought about wrapping the Aluma in black vinyl rather than painting it. I used to sell Aluma trailers and thats what we did a lot of the time.

I actually have considered wrapping and may go that route just not sure what would last better for the price. I will be checking prices very soon.

Any idea if they changed the transmission sprocket from the 32 tooth to the 30 tooth? Makes a huge difference.

That is a good idea!

I did the wrap myself..my personal one was white and I changed it to black, but I knew I could always change the color if I wanted to. I changed another white one to yellow for a customer. I got the vinyl from a sign shop.

Congrats on the new ride,Tim. ThumbUp We're not that far away from you so maybe we can get together this year for a ride.

I've owned 3 black cars, still have one, and 2 black motorcycles. Every time I buy one, I say, never again, for that reason. But damn, nothing beats shiny black.!!!

I too swore I'd never have another Black anything. But here I sit with 2014 Black D Trike and a Chevy pu the same color :) Like said above. YOU Can't BEAT SHINY BLACK :) WElcome and HOPE you enjoy it as much I do mine. ThumbUp

I bought a white trailer cause that's where I store the trike. It's stays cooler inside than black one would. Intake vents on the bottom sides and a covered exhaust vent on the roof. Natural flow of air thru the trailer.
