Looking to specifically ask my fellow Tri Glider's (newer, without the closable batwing upper vent) who have installed a pair of JES Wind Fangs for their product review... From what I gather they really help buffeting but at a cost... added heat.

Those who have them installed, did you add any auxiliary fans (such as the Harley version that draws heat away, or a Love Jugs/DK's fan kit) to keep the motor temps within reason during the summer at highway speeds?

My 99' Ultra had the wind baffle under the triple tree that worked great, but, as some may know, they discontinued that as an option on the newer touring bikes (and with the stabilizer on the trike, even more of a "non-starter").

For any 2021 Tri owners who have successfully added the Love Jugs, which model did you specially add? Their site is down/out of stock and when I emailed Dennis Kirk, they said none are specially on the "fitment" list for 2021 Tri Glides

Everything is coming into place to make my Tri Glide a machine to ride long and often. But I still need to reduce the buffeting even more than I already have... at least for my health. I know there are riders out there that don't think it's a big deal, but I've put a lot of miles on in my life already and know what I like.

The JES Fangs seem like the ticket... if you have em' on your Tri Glide please let me know what you think!

Thanks in advance!

THe HD auxiliary fan is IMO a waste of money, it is for passenger felt heat and does not do much to lower engine heat

The Love Juggs are a cut above and do remove engine heat, get a hold of Randy AKA Papa Zook owner of this forum, he is a dealer for Love Juggs

Put a D K Customs tank lift, this will cut down on the buffeting, increase airflow over the engine to help pull heat away and make your engine easier to keep clean

Ive got a 2021 TriGlide and I have the DK cooling wings, 1.5 tank lift and added a set of Love Jugs Mighty mites in October. The Mighty Mites run at all times when the ignition is on and seemed to help a lot until the front one quit a month ago . AND, Love Jugs are on temporary break "for a few weeks" so no customer support for now. Not quite so happy about that as things are heating up here in New Orleans this time of year. Also if ya do put Love Jugs on go to their website as you can buy additional years of warranty if interested. I did not get told that when I had mine installed and missed out on that offer:mad:.

A combination of the Cooling Deflector Wings and a Tank Lift (see them both at the links below) will reduce buffeting by a significant amount for most people. They also will help the engine run much cooler...by about 18-25 degrees F.

They will NOT cut as much air as the fangs. But the fangs will increase engine temps by 20-25 degrees F. The buffeting will be greatly reduced, but the already hot engine will be significantly hotter.

On the fans, the Mighty Mites work the best...unfortunately not so easy to get right now.

A very close second is the Force Flow Fan that you can see at this LINK. On the M8 you will either have to get creative to install with the thermostat, or do what most of us do, use it with the included switch.

I have run the fangs on my Tri Glide, and it is going to be really hard to keep the temps down where they should be with them.

Here is a report of the various things you can do to get the temps down, which will be especially important if you run with the fangs.
