Jacking up Champion S/A

If wanting to remove both rear tires should I jack up under the differential then put jack stands near each wheel or jack up near each wheel at a time and put jack stand under? Where should the jack be placed if doing each wheel then placing a jackstand?

Either SA (axle) or IRS I always try to place jack stands where it allows the axle or suspension to hang down the lowest to allow the tires & wheels more clearance... I even run the suspension height adjustment up once I get it stabalized ... more clearance, mine closer on one side than the other...? Just FYI

First, you need a paddle jack. Where the former center stand was attached there are two lugs (bosses) that hang down from the frame. Place a 2x4 between the paddle jack and these bosses and raise the paddle jack. If you still have a center stand you can jack up the rear by placing the paddle jack on the feet ot the stand while it is in the retracted position. This should raise the rear only and drop the wheels enough for removal. CAUTION use safety stands while wheels are removed.

What's a paddle jack? I have a floor jack and I saw the dealer using a manual scissor jack but don't remember where he placed it.

If you jack up the Champion with a jack by the axles or support the axles or suspension with jack stands there won't be enough clearance to get the wheels out of the wheel wells. (Don't ask how I know )
As Lee said, use the frame lugs or feet of the centerstand. Works well.

Thanks, that's what I saw the trike dealer use. I called it a scissor jack. Not happy to read they want over $200. for that jack.

Check Ebay, Harbor Freight, Northern Tool there are some other copy cats out there but check the rating..... 1500 - 2000 # remember you lifting most of the trike...
