Is MORE Better

It's called personalizing.
That is what some of us do. We like it our way.
On our trike we have only added comfort accessories so far.

We add what we want to make our ride more enjoyable or comfortable for US !! We're not thinking about something for someone else, its not a kitchen remodel to add value to your house.... I sure don't consider the next guy when we make it like we want...... most all accessories can be removed.... but most never change a thing, just enjoy the extras..... If you don't like extras, BUY NEW !!

If you are talking about pin striping maybe some of that stuff is so personalized it duz not appeal to others. Accessories probably not so much.

When it's time to sell, just like a two wheeler accessories don't really make it worth more money. BUT.... since it's very hard to compare pricing on the used trike market you can most likely get your price with add on mods. As for paint jobs, some shoot themselves in the foot.

When we were looking for what would become our present trike, one of the deciding factors was the accessories already on it. There was a lot of extra chrome - not a big factor but nice, but we had a list of things we would add if not already on the trike. The one we found had all our Must Have's and more for the same price of other rigs we considered at about the same year, condition and price that had much less in the accessories/farkles department. We have added some pinstriping, but haven't had a negative comment about it, and if it is a deal breaker for a potential buyer it can be easily removed.

No worries about paint, pin striping, chrome or whatever. When it come time to sell if one potential buyer doesn't like it another will.
