Am trying to hold out for a Mustang seat but the stock seat really sucks for 2 up. Wondering if the tallboy seat will work with stock sissy bar. First ride my wife said the stock seat not that bad, second ride she say's it' got to go. Been using mustang seats for over 15 years, but would give the tallboy a try if it would work with stock sissy bar. If it works would love to see some pics.

tall boy seat.

I just bought my Freewheeler over the 4th of July weekend and we took it for a ride. My wife told me she wouldnt ride on it again untill I bought a sissy bar and changed the seat. So bought a Sundowner seat and the Sissy bar now she will ride. She then tells me she wants a Spyder F3 so we go and buy one of those. Garage is full now.

Several points - 1) the passenger "sissy bar" is a low bar. Unfortunately, my album pictures hide the passenger pad (HERE) but you'll get the idea. It's partially visable in Picture #1

2) The 'Tallboy' seat will make a *huge* improvement on the passenger's derriere. It's comparable to the Sundowner seat.

3) Make sure you try a Mustang seat before you buy it ~ I've had bad results with Mustang seats on my two-wheelers. I bought two different models, and returned them both. One wasn't comfortable in my nether regions, and the next one was too hard.

Just my 2¢...

I know what you mean about Mustang seats being hard. I refer to them as firm. Been using a wide vintage on my 95 fxstc for 10 years. It takes a little to break them in but I can ride all day without much discomfort. Had a sundowner but couldn't ride 2hours without a break. I assume they've come along way then those made for a '95. If Mustang doesn't release one soon will probably get the tall boy. Thanks for the pics. Just want to make sure it works with the sissy before I order.

This month's Bagger magazine has an advertisement from Mustang that features a Freewheeler with one of their seats, with both back rests and just the driver's.
Looks pretty good.

Just picked up a freewheeler.... made them throw in a Tall Boy seat, LOVE it. The stock sissy bar works works, have not been able to ride it yet as the dealer still has it. I need my endorsement. I will get pics on Friday and will post up how my Wife and I do with it as well.

Thanks to my large rear end the wife was a little squished the bar works fine with the seat

We're using a Tallboy seat with the stock sissy bar/back pad with no problems at all. The Tallboy is a major improvement over the stock seat, at least for us.
