Insurance on Harley Trike

Want to know what some of you are paying for coverage on your trikes

Thanks

Payzac

That depends.......How much coverage you want, Location of where the trike is parked, Your driving Record, And the the particular insurance company your thinking of going with.....ETC'ETC...Best is to call a few companies and compare prices....

But who ever you go with, Make sure you have ;Un-insured -And Under-insured coverage at least...Too many people out there without any insurance or the minimum...

progressive $415 a year. state farm wanted $750 a year and i have everything else with them for the last 39 years. i always shop insurance whenever they send me a bill. can't find anyone cheaper on the truck, cars and house than state farm. but for the trike they were way over the top.

I found the same with State Farm. Not sure of todays policy's but, years ago they would only insure a cycle if you had your other stuff insured with same co.

Thats the we don't want to insure Motorcycles price...

I have found that were you live and your credit rating has an effect on your cost also.Several years ago me and my buddy had same year and model Softails, our age was very close, but because my mailing address was Dayton Ohio and his was Trotwood even though we were less than 10 miles apart my rates were higher than his with the same company.

I am in Texas, and have Dairyland ins. I pay $256.00 yearly, for full coverage on my '17 Tri Glide, and liability on my 1996 Honda Shadow.

I not sure what part of Ohio I have Erie on the trike and vehicles 270 something check them out they just started covering Large touring motorcycles lately. Fred

before i bought this trike i had state farm on both of my other bikes. 92 heritage $ 270 and a 12 street glide they wanted $550. progressive was $450 a year for both. had tpo make the move. the thing is i've had state farm on everything i'v had for the last 39 years and both my sons have homes and their cars with the same agent too ! piss on them, i'm going with whoever gives me the best price !

There are a dozen threads on this topic and most are current. It all depends on the state you live in since every state regulates the industry and rates vary, sometimes alot. What one person pays in one state may have no relevance to any other.

This. I used to insure with GIECO. They had the lowest rates here in TX. Out of nowhere, State Farm gets proactive insuring motorcycles. Already had the house and cars with them. Also, your driving record will affect your rates.
