Hymmm I have State Farm too and the bikes insured as a 2010 Goldwing complete with a rider for the Motor Trike kit at full current replacement value.
Not as an accessory....

What is your premium if I may ask. I'm thinking about going with State Farm

Did have Allstate, when I triked my Kawasaki vv1700, Allstate would insure, but wanted to charge me more than DOUBLE the rate per year when they covered the bike as a 2 wheeler.. Agent suggested I go to Progressive, who I have delt with in the past, so I did.

I had planned to package all my insurance with Allstate, then this happened for the trike....I also learned that in California, Allstate does NOT insure homes or travel trailers...they farm it all out to someone else - what good is that?

I have a 2002 Wing with a Lehman back end. Paid 20K for the trike last year. Insured it with State Farm who I have been with for 30 years. Policy is $377 a year. When I got the paper policy it only said 2002 Honda Gold Wing. So I called to inquire and make sure they know it was a trike due to that conversion being worth a lot more than a plain wing. The agent told me to take a lot of pictures which I already did.
I asked again after that agent retired and the new agent took over. He sent my request to the underwriter and I never heard back. I asked the next visit and he told me they hadnt heard anything so dont worry.

Not very comforting since I like to see things in print so they dont have Insurer amnesia if there's a claim. ;-) But I have kept a good record of emails and conversations.
