Installer Recommendation

Thanks for the responses. I really do appreciate all of your input, however what I really need are recommendations for installers in FL, GA, AL.

I realize that all conversions have their good and not so good points. As I have learned here it really comes down to a good installer. I live in central Florida, so any recommendations any of you can give in any of these three states would be most appreciated.

Sorry I don't want to alienate any of you good people, but specific recommendations or experiences would be wonderful.

Thanks, have a great day.

I've heard that Trike Traders in Lake Alfred, FL do good work. I'm thinking RoadSmith, getting my 2005 Wing converted. Was in there a month or so ago, they had one RoadSmith on the floor, plus several others.

I want to thank all of you for taking the time to respond to my question. I got some really good info. After researching since early June, I finally made my choice and picked up my trike a couple of weeks ago. She is a 03 GL 1800 with a 2012 Motor Trike conversion, Illusion Blue. I got her (turn key) from Trike Traders in Lake Alfred Florida. Doug and Shaun were really great to work with and made the process enjoyable. So far I am really pleased and love the way she handles. I've put about 250 miles on her in the last three days, and am looking forward to many thousands more.
Thanks again, you are a truly a group of wonderful human beings!

I'll post a few pics as soon as I get album uploading error resolved.

Mine came from Coach Rice Trike Loganville, Georgia, dealer, used, pre-owned, parts, service, financing in Georgia.

Carl is a great guy to deal with and went out of his way to personally deliver mine. Even after dealing with all of my inane phone calls.

I am preparing to purchase my first Goldwing trike. First, let me apologize if this question has been asked before, couldn't find it with the search function.

I want to buy a turn key (don't have a donor Wing) from a installer either in Florida, Georgia, or Alabama. Have been lurking here and reseraching for the last couple of months, and am considering Roadsmith, Motor Trike and CSC.

Would be most grateful for recommendations about quality installers in these states. Thanks for any help you might give. Have a great day. :wave4:

I bought mine from Tony Harris in Hazel Green Al. He sells all the major brands . I bought a Roadsmith I am very HAPPY with it. Good price and good work Ride Safe Greg

I echo what Greg has said. A couple weekss ago, I drove 720 miles (one way) with a heavy a$$ U-haul trailer to get a trike from Tony. I think he had over 30 trikes on his property, and at least 18 or 19 were all ready to go "out the door." A veriety of mileage and equipment.

To top that, he had a fairly broad selection of accessories, if you needed more bling for your "new" trike.

Dealing with Tony was painless, quick, and very professional. It was well worth the drive! Nobody within 5 states of Maryland could even come close in matching availability and/or price to what Tony has available!
