Thinking about getting rid of the handle bars and going with front to back tree steering ... if any one has any pics would appricate it .. and what measurement would I need from front to back .. would like to go from pedal accelator to twist grip....
best width measurement from front tree to back ...

The measurement you'll need is from the handlebar to the riser. The problem will be to find a fabricator to build the tiller style bars I assume you're wanting. I had mind made by a local trike builder with 1" material so that I can use Harley controls. Switching to twist throttle is pretty easy to do. Just get the correct twist throttle and enough cable for the linkage. By the way I also ride a v8 trike.
