Good morning to everyone here. I see this site to be more active than others and I do like it. I was given a link to another thread posted here, that lead me to read the authors words and learn a lot that I did not understand, so I realized that this Triketalk was another site, so here I am. My name is Andy and I am 57 years old and a disabled Vet. Rode bikes as a youngster and when I married and the wife had children I lost my right to ride the bikes.

Now the children are out living their lives and I bought this 1976 VW trike from the neighbor lady. It was her husbands toy who had passed about 5 years ago.

I have loved the idea of a toy to work on and play with. I had to re wire the electrical system and I drew out schematics of the work. Had to design a fuel tank because the current one went to crap and cost me a total carburetor cleaning, new fuel line and pump. So got a lot done and soon I will be on the road again.

I do have a lot to do, many questions, and I see a lot of help and info here on the site. I am so pleased to be here.

wow

This was some welcome. I have been online for years on different boards, but this has been one of the largest "greetings" I have ever received.

I am so impressed at seeing so many members, who seem to be spread out across our Nation, take time to reply.

I need to spend a little time and get a thread started, practice taking better pictures, I already enjoy being a member here, so thank you everyone for making me feel welcomed here.:D
