Impressions

Went to the dentisit today to have my impressions done for my false teeth.
I tell you with that stuff in your mouth you feel like a chipmonk with a couple of wallnuts in your mouth.
Go back the 20th and they are going to pull them all out and put the new ones in.
They have to stay in for 24 hours then I go back in the next day.

Yep, that's the way it works. Be sure to user your pain med, prescription, don't try to be a tough guy.

No way will I not take my pain medication,I am a wimp when it comes to pain.
What I really hate is when they are giving you those shots in the mouth for pain.

I agree on the shots. Getting some work on Monday just fillings but I hate the shots also.

When I had my uppers pulled, they gave me an I.V. - the girl came in to push the pain meds into the IV tube, and said to count backwards from 100. "One hundred, Ninety-nine, Ninnnneeemmmm." The next thing I knew we were in the parking lot of the pharmacy and Gloria was going in to pick up the prescription. Don't remember a thing until then, but she said I'd been babbling around the starter dentures and gauze for the last half hour.

Never had much of a pain issue - just took my meds like a good boy.
