I've road some 96's & 103's. But this 114 is a torque "monster". I'm impressed with the passing power, riding 2-up. just finish a 120 mile round trip ride with nothing but hills and curves. Several times at 50-55 mph I pulled out to pass and the first instinct was to down shift, instead just rolled the throttle, "very impressive" The more I ride it, the better I like it.

Now if I could break the habit of starting to lean before turning the bars..:blush:

Glad you're enjoying, I share the same opinion...the M8 107 and 114 are great engines for making that low end torque!

Never road the 107.

Almost traded my 09 softtail when the 103's came out, took a test ride on the new 103 trike and was a little disappointed. Stuck with what I had. In my opinion, the trike in that era don't come close to the 2019, The 114 test ride changed my mind in the first mile.

I keep reading about the 19's and sometimes I wish I would have got a 19 instead of my 18, I know the 19 would have cost me more but oh well, you only live once. And the dealer had some 19's in stock at the time I bought the 18

I have rode a 114 trike and they are nice with the improvements in suspension and power. I looked at one the other day but cant see putting another 14k onto the loan on my 17(almost paid for) so i just walked out of the dealership.Congrats on your trike and welcome aboard.

My 12 - 103 was a real slug till the enrichiners were installed. She still runs hot at 250 head temp with 225 oil temp. And thats with all the wings , coolers, relocaters , ect.

Has enough power to keep me out of trouble .
