Got the bike back today,40 miles from dealer to home so far so good.Going on a poker run this Sat so i will be able to get some more miles on it.Keeping my fingers crossed. Here is what the work order says:The clutch switch was not working properly, the ECM could not determine weather the clutch switch was open or closed causing an erratic idle. Replaced the left hand control switch pack and the bike operates as designed.

Good Deal

I hope this is not an on going problem of defective switches

Mine will almost act up like that in stop and go traffic

I will keep a closer eye on it

Thanks for posting;)

There must be something to it,the switch packs are on back order. The tech had one with just a few hundred miles on it,it was a take off when a customer wanted back lit controls. As long as it fixes the issue i am ok with a take off.

I have had my Tri back to the dealers for the same problem stalling. I have added fatter grips and a Hoglever, Started stalling then, Had to move the Hoglever out almost as far as the stock lever to fix the stalling, So far so good after 500 miles no stalling and idle is not bouncing down to 500 rpms, Stays were it should.
