Well, I've finally been able to get out on my Icebear Tornado few times. Although very affordable, you really do get what you pay for. Riding two up I was only able to get it to 45 or so. Downhill. With a breeze. On my own maybe 52. Live and learn. Now I have the trike bug and have to figure out a way to get an affordable one that has some power.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Those things are basically just a 3 wheel scooter, not made for the highway. They are probably OK for around town though.

Yeah, I knew it wasn't really fast but riding two up on a smaller road with a 45 mile speed limit we were holding up traffic. Frustrating feeling.

This would have been my choice. Still not a big fast trike. On a typical ride 2 wheel or 3 , I seldom go over 50mph. Knowing I can do 70 is good to have. I looked at this. I would like to ride it first. My CF moto has a top speed of 60. And my Johnny Pag Spyder is 70. No trouble with either riding single. Weight has to do with it. I weigh 175.

Well, sold my Icebear and bought a Can-Am Spyder and I'm soooo much happier with it. A sweet ride.

David - The Spyder sounds nice. Our friends have two RT's (His and Hers) and really enjoy them.

Nice, which spyder did you get?

What part of nj? Burlington here

ride3 - PM me your "regular" email address to be added to to the NJ Trike list. Whenever I get my act together, we expect to have a ride or 2, and being on the list, you'll know when and where. Ferretguy is already on the list.

Also, keep in mind the NE Rally held this year in southern Vermont. Further details can be found HERE.

Best regards to you both... ThumbUp
