Hurricane Irene to ruin weekend riding plans

Looks like my plans to run up to VA Beach for the weekend are scotched due to Hurrricane Irene's expected arrival Friday/Saturday. Looks like the eye of the hurricane will be passing directly overhead.

So, I got the '82 Wing in GF's garage in New Bern and the Shadow Trike is getting the brakes looked at in Havelock. Got everything pretty much buttoned up and will hunker down, starting Friday afternoon, and await her arrival:AGGHH: then celebrate her departure on Saturday PM ThumbUp. Sunday will be clean up day.:gah:

Sadly, this is a very common site all along the East Coast. Irene sured dumped lots of water. :-(

Gulf Tropical storm to reach here Sunday night, all day Monday...most likely riding in heavy rain in Tennessee.
