Texas Hurricane

The weather radar shows the hurricane coming ashore just a bit north of Brownsville. Looks like it is headed due west into Mexico. Hope everyone is safe..... Jim

We were hoping for some rain relief from heat, barely got a quick shower. A 60 percent chance tomorrow morning for another shot at it...

Me too. Really need the rain here. Have had an inch of rain so far but we are about 4 inches behind right now. Have a good chance for rain the next several days so maybe we will catch up a bit more.

Looks like we zeroed on the hurricane rain... got 2, 5-minute showers in the past 24 hours... guess I’ll leave the sprinkler system on...

At least we caught a break on the high temps.

Received a good 15 minute downpour this morning around 0530. Sprinkles two or three other times. Not much here in west San Antonio.

I was sure hoping we would get some much need moisture from that thing but not even one big juicy drop. Now 44 miles further north, they got 2 ½ inches at Sheppard Air Force Base. What did I do wrong to deserve nothing???:mad::mad:
