How to stop email notifications ?

Newbie here, can somebody tell me how to stop getting emails when someone responds to my post. Thanks for any help.

Go to: Settings>General Settings>Messaging & Notification>Default Thread Subscription Mode>Then select an option in the drop down menu, then scroll to the bottom and click on Save Changes
