How to pick a used trike ?

Im looking to buy a used trike. I've been looking a Wings mostly. Im on a limited budget so I've been looking at older model 1500s. What I'd like to know is what do I need to ask or look for in a used trike. I'm a complete newbee to all this so please bare with the questions

Welcome to the board, as far as buying a trike u need to ride as many. Different brands as u can, CSC,motortrike, etc. All ride differently. Make sure if
You are going to have a co-rider that they ride with you, as they also get a different ride depending on the manf.
Buy from a person or company u can trust. Know who installed the kit, ride it and don't take excuses "oh it has always done that". If u are not happy with it don't buy it. They can be expensive to fix or update..

Some people will post on the board what they are looking for and the price range to see if maybe someone knows of one for sale.

Don't be afraid to travel a little ways to look at one.

Also check with Bazooka since he is a dealer, and u can trust what he tells u.

welcome aboard. a 1500 is a great trike. just look for a well mantained one

I looked at 6 different kits before choosing which kit to put on our GL1800. I liked this kit because of the independant suspension. We also got the EZ steer added which makes it a lot easier to control. We've had out trike for 3 years and love it. My wife has put more miles on it than I have.
