How Do You Dress For A Ride

I only wear boots and my mesh gear when I go on a trip. If I ride around I wear my bib overalls a tee shirt and sneakers… I do wear a 3/4 helmet all the time. I do admit I feel safer on my trike than on my 2 wheeler.

That’s an interesting question… In the summer boots 🥾 , jeans, gloves , and a hoodie with the sleeves rolled up…..In the winter boots’ Lined jeans gloves’ hoodie leather jacket (A real motorcycle jacket)….And if it’s really cold my full heated jacket under the leather jacket….And about the gloves I wear them anytime I ride just force of habit I feel naked without them..

Around town, regular shoes, long sleeve T, jeans, half or modular helmet, gloves. Riding any distance, I change to boot, Kilimanjaro jacket, or leather in the late fall or early spring, sometimes myheated liner, heaver gloves, modular helmet. I do feel safer on the Spyder, and I also realize that is a dangerous delusion.

That Kilimanjaro jacket is probably the best jacket I’ve ever worn. It’s solid. I have that fake sense of security as well.

This time of year, slip on boots, gloves, half helmet, jeans, bright colored shirt orange or yellow.

So far shorts, short sleeve shirt, runners, and a fluorescent lime green vest so cars can see us better. Oh and a half helmet.

I have to admit to the safety delusion on the trike. Weather depending, jeans T shirt leather vest, tennis shoes and or boots and gloves (fingerless in warm weather and full fingered in cool weather). I have worn shorts in extreme hot weather but not often, in cold weather depending on temps 50 and above I wear my 3/4 length leather coat. When it gets in the 40's I break out my Roland Sands heavy canvas coat, it is hands down the warmest riding coat I have ever worn. I typically don't wear a helmet ( all you AGATT folks calm down) I do wear it when its in the 40's or lower to keep my head warmer.
