hot hot hot brings storms

last night we got thumped by a storm, which is good in that it put out the fires that were burning out of control on stradbroke island just off our coast. 80,000 homes lost power, and there were 27,000 lightning strikes (yes thats the true figure from the beauro of meteorology.) the roof of the hospital Elise is in collapsed above the cafeteria and flooded the foyer. no one was hurt.
no drama for us as we needed the water, and are self sufficient for electricity.
 
There's nothing like a good thunderstorm to shake things up! But you've got enough storms raging in your life already, don't you.
 
thats true nana, im feeling a bit like a drama magnet atm. we all have crosses to bare, if life was too easy we probably wouldnt appreciate it as much..... on that note i wonder if thats the problem with a lot of the younger generation. theyve maybe had it too easy. never had to do any hard yards. too molly coddled,,,just a thought
