last night we got thumped by a storm, which is good in that it put out the fires that were burning out of control on stradbroke island just off our coast. 80,000 homes lost power, and there were 27,000 lightning strikes (yes thats the true figure from the beauro of meteorology.) the roof of the hospital Elise is in collapsed above the cafeteria and flooded the foyer. no one was hurt.
