Gents,

The trike has a tow bar, but I cannot see any wires(save for a few struck way back there next to the big spider the is missing it's front leg and one eyeball. Before I go in there with my mad spider killing skills (got them from a magazine back in the 70's when it was real hard core) where else can I look?

What am I looking for or is there something missing on purpose?

Wayne,
Some (Manufacturers & Dealers) don't install the Wiring. With some, you (or the original Owner) have to specify that Trailer Wiring is wanted separately from the Hitch Assembly.
Several Reasons for that including the many variations of Wiring (4 wire-5 wire-etc) and Connectors/Plugs (4 pin flat-5 pin flat-5 pin round-etc). Some just forget to. Some forget on purpose for several reasons....

One way to check it is on the rear Tail Lights. IF it is installed, many boot off one or both of the Tail Lights for wiring like Autos do. Another is the check for a Trailer Isolator Module which some believe is necessary on Bikes & Trikes (to each his own). If an Isolator has been installed they are usually stowed under the Seat or on Trikes sometimes in the Trunk. Some put them under a Side Cover.

But, I'd bet if you can't see or find any down around the Hitch somewhere, probably not present.

Good luck and be sure and arm yourself well against the Squatter Spider..
If he is missing a leg and an eye he ain't no stranger to a fight and is combat trained & proven. ;)

Morin' Wayne. If you find there is no trailer harness and really want one I do suggest the isolator but not necessarily for the isolation feature as for the power distribution benefit. The isolator is powered by the bike and in turn routes power to the trailer so the trailer is not actually using the bike's wiring for lights but instead just to control the isolator.

Your 2013 is a bit different then earlier models. The place wiring will hook in is under the seat instead of under the trunk. If you buy a plug and play make sure it is for a 2013... Also, if you want to just tie into the wiring yourself then get your hands on the wire diagrams. They are in the service manual. I build my own isolator so splicing into the wiring way my option. Works great...

Good luck with the project. :xszpv::xszpv:
