HI! I ride an 03 harley v rod and I'm looking to get it triked soon. I'm looking at the motor trike co. and the American trike. The local dealer claims that the motor trike is the best value and best trike. I like the minimal look of the american trike plus I can do the install myself. However the cost still comes out to $10,000 either way. WHAT say you'll???? anyone have an american trike or know anything about that company????thanks

Curley03 welcome aboard. Glad you found us.

Motor Trike a great company no input on American Trike sorry.

Welcome to the forum and greetings from Florida.
If you want a real minimalist trike, try the Frankenstein trike kit. It's a bare-bones hot rod set up and you can do it yourself. Very reasonable price too.

WELCOME to TRIKE TALK.....I've got a Motor Trike IRS on my Gold Wing and have been totally happy with it, just for your info.....I like the minimal look Kits also...especially when done up "Old School Style"....Good Luck on Your tough decision.....:wtg:

Welcome to TrikeTalk and a big thank you for all your years of service on our behalf!
I know very little about American Trike, but I've never heard anything negative.
Santiago Chopper makes a great looking kit for a reasonable price. They will sell to you so you can build it yourself too.... Click on their banner ad to the right and look at their site. Scott is our contact there.
Another great looking one you can build yourself is Frankenstein. You might contact them and see if they have a kit for a V-rod.
Of course, your trike will probably be one of my favorites on here.... I happen to love the look of the V-rod as a trike!

Welcome to the board, the V-rod makes a nice looking trike.

Let us know what U do, and we love pictures...

Thanks for your service to our Country...........:Flag::Flag:

The V-Rod is a sweet beast no matter how many wheels. Check out Frankenstein's version - their "cover bike" is a V-Rod
