Just joined and am excited to read all about Trikes. I am taking Trike lessons in a few weeks and preparing for the "BIG CHOICE". Have always been an enthusiastic bike watcher (used to ride 30+ yrs ago), and now going to enjoy the road the way it should be.
I am sure I will get a lot of pointers and am looking forward to the hints, suggestions and what to stay away from.

c, Welcome to the board, don't be afraid to ask question and to post some of the things U have learned in ur class... We have a great bunch on here so no matter what U decide to buy someone will have one and can help U..
Keep us informed and when U get something we love pictures
When U get ready to buy U might put on the board what U R looking for and a price range. Several people have been helped finding their trike by members of the board...
Good luck...

Hello 4canines, and welcome to TrikeTalk. You will get lots of help and answers here, but watch out for katfish16. He is likely to make up answers for you...LOL! :busted:

Take some time and read through the pointers and information in this thread:
http://www.triketalk.com/forum/general-forum/242-experianced-trike-riders-please-post-here.html

It will give you lots of great information to get you started, and will also probably raise questions in your mind. Ask away, the answers will pour forth!

Welcome and good for you, on taking trike lessons. You'll get lot's of help here and you won't regret going to a trike. You're going to love it! Keep us up dated on how the lessons go!
Are you just for cannines in general or do you have 4 special members of your family?

Thanks for responding neighbor. The training is at TCC, Chesapeake campus. One of the instructors works with me and gave me the dates of the session two months ago. Been patiently waiting since and checking out the different styles. I actually live in Zuni and work in Newport News, so I am not afraid of the road.

Awesome! So you are taking the basic course. You are just down the road from me! About 20 mins. Have fun with the course! I ended up taking the regular MSF course. Will the trike course give you your endorsement or do you still need to do the two wheeled course?

Hi,

I currently have 4 dogs, but have always had more than one. I used to show, but am now so far out of the city, that it is just too time consuming. I raise birds instead, but keep my companions close at hand. I look forward to coming home to always being greeted with love.

I will certainly keep my progress posted. It is good to know there is support and "family" out there.

Take Care!

Most of the skills learned in the 2 wheel course are used in 3 wheel riding. The shared skills are far more than the differences. So learn as much as you can you will use it. Good luck
