Hi, from Cedar Springs, Michigan!

My husband (Marlan) and I just joined this site today, so we are newbies. After searching for over a year, we finally found just the right trike at just the right price. We are SO excited! We just bought a 2000 Honda Goldwing GL 1500, with only 27,000 miles on it, and she's in "mint" condition. We don't even have full custody of our new baby yet! We'll get her this coming weekend and we are anxious. The weather is gorgeous in central Michigan right now (amazingly), so Marlan really wishes that he could be out on the trike right now. Instead, we've spent this glorious day doing many yard chores and getting ready for the swiftly approaching winter. Nice to talk to all of you, and we hope to get lots of pointers and information from those of you who have more experience than we do! Stop in and say "hi" to Marlan and Bonnie (we have two sites). A big, warm welcome to both of you, Bonnie! Wow...it would be tough to just get the trike at the beginning of Michigan's winter! Hope the mild weather lasts long enough for you to get a few miles in. We have a number of Michigan members, so keep your eye out for them. Next summer you can meet up on the road. Again...welcome!

We also have a 2000se Goldwing with a CSC trike kit and love it....

Thanks so much to everyone! We are as giddy as schoolkids about the trike, even though it may be next spring before we can make full use of it. This is a wonderful site; we were referred by our brother-in-law from Alabama who also has a trike. We've already reconstructed one of our out-buildings to accomodate the new purchase, so she will be carefully protected throughout the winter.

Marly (Marlan, my husband) has a 6-month "learner's license", so he has some time to practice and drive. Sadly, that means that I can't ride with him, and he can't drive after dark, until he takes the official driving test and secures his full license. Marly has had a few motorcycles in his younger years, so I'm sure that he'll be fine. This is truly a first for me, but I fully intend to just sit upon that cushy backseat and leave the rest up to Marly. I'll be along for the ride, so it seems like I have the best end of this deal!

Hey there Sis-in-law I didn't get a chance to get on the forum yesterday. We had to got busy getting ready for whats left of the hurricane. Lots of rain and a few wind gusts. We have some flooding and some trees down. Nothing too bad.

It looks like a big ride this summer to meet half way? You know Susan and I never go anyplace I bet some of the other members on here would be able to link up and ride also.

Hello, my baby bro-in-law! Thanks for tuning us in on this site; it's lots of fun. We are anxiously checking our mailbox for "the big check" so we can pay off the balance on our new cherished toy and gain full custody! Any day now. As soon as that check arrives, I will guarantee that your brother will haul me (fractured fingers and all) over to scoop up the trike! He'll drive it back home and I'll just follow along with the truck probably.

Very glad to hear that you weren't hit "too hard" with the latest tropical storm. Flooding and downed trees sound plenty bad enough!

It will be SO MUCH FUN for all of us to meet up somewhere this spring and ride together! Let's all pray that our Paula and Kenny will be able to join us. That would be great.
