lift.jpg ok, I bought this lift from Harbor Freight and it fits under the Trike but when I lift it up all I am lifting is the front tire no matter where I place the jack. I tried tying the front wheel to the jack but that did not help. Now I did get the rear wheels off the ground maybe an inch but the jack wanted to tip back. Please give me some advice even if it is that I am doing something wrong. THANKS!!!!

The lift you are showing is for a 2 wheeler. The J & S jack for a trike is different, see below. It has a piece that engages against swing arm, to lift the bike level. Unfortunately that lift will not work, unless you add weight to the front. Even then I would be very hesitant about lifting my expensive trike with it.

Rhino Ramps

If you not changing a tire, buy a set of rhino ramps drive the trike up on them. Home Depot sells them so does Amazon, If you get a pair get the 12000 pound pair believe I paid 39.00.

You can use that jack under the engine of your Freewheeler, but you will also need to support the rear with another small scissor jack. I just used my car jack with a piece of 2x4 on the axle. Between the two the trike is very stable up in the air and that's how I changed out my rear shocks that I got from DK Custom.

Rule #1. Never, ever buy anything from Horrible Fright, eeerrrr Harbor Freight!

Rule #2. Never, ever trust your bike/trike to be safe on a cheap jack.

J&S or Pit Bull, your choice.

There will be many that say they have used various brands of these $100+or- jacks with no problems. They are very lucky, so far!
