Wanted to place a post so that the Trike Talk spam filter doesn't boot me out. I 've put together over the winter a trike, 1984 Yamaha Royale Venture mated to a 1995 Ford Thunderbird with the IRS rearend. Just waiting to find the perfect fenders & trunk to finish it off.

Welcome to the forum. You'll love the T-bird rear end on your trike. Dependable, easy to maintain - quality product. Good luck with the fenders, etc. Scrounge the auto yards and you should be able to come up with some neat looking parts, (if you don't mind the weight of metal panels), although there is some fiberglass out there. Just keep looking.

You will also find some good information on the "Home Built Trikes" forum. A lot of the folks posting there are really talented and can give you some great advice.

Welcome to TT - glad you found us. That's a very nice looking "project" you've got going. Be sure to fill us in with pictures as you progress.

Few years back I passed thru your area on the way to Sudbury, Timmins and Cochrane. Was driving a 45' MCI tour bus with a bunch of folks on their way to visit Moosonee. As you may know, the last 200 miles going north there are no roads. The choices are air, canoe or train (the Polar Bear Express). We did the train and visited the Moosonee area including a boat "tour" of lower James Bay. Now that's getting up north.
