Hello, need some help

I'm needing a little guidance from my fellow trikers.

I have a 1993 Goldwingse with a csc trike kit. I believe it was the sport IS kit with aux. fuel tank and fatory air shock in the the middle.

Older style with solid axle (ford mustang differential)

This problem started a week ago, whenever I bank left, or am turning left I get a pronounced squeel from the right. Ujoints are good.

I replaced the springshocks under the advisment from csc. It did not cure the problem.

I noticed a significant shift approx. 1-1 1/2 inch in the fenders side to side while the swingarm and axle stay static.

Does anyone have any old documentation for these kits? schematics, parts lists.... or better an idea as to what to look for? (Bushings, mounts, etc...)

Tearing off the trunk and fenders is my last resort.

Thanks in advance

Let me start by saying I have never touched a CSC straight axle trike but I own a straight axle by another mfg. From what you say about the body movement I would check that the swingarm is tight where it attaches to the frame of the motorcycle. The tension could have backed off or a bearing may have failed in that area.I had this happen.

Tom, Welcome to Trike talk from West Virginia.:wave4:

View this post from the other day, it shows a brief installation of the CSC straight axle kit used on the GL1500 and Valkyrie.

If this is a recent development, the body frame may be loose, or the body bolts.

You are there ! We are not !!!
