Greetings to all, I have had bikes all my life. Currently have a ultra classic Harley, a 1100 yamaha vtwin, a 750 Honda shadow, and a bunch of classic cars.

I just test drove my first trike, a 95 goldwing se, it comes with a matching trailer. Made a purchase agreement and will pick it up Tuesday.

I wanted a 1800 but they are above my current budget.

I got the set for 11.5k, 90k miles. It has been well kept and rode great.

Now I gotta learn all about it. I do all my own wrenching, paint etc...

Ray

Welcome to TrikeTalk, Ray! Sounds as though you got a great trike and trailer. Allow yourself 200 - 500 miles of riding to get completely comfortable with the difference in steering, but once you are you will not be able to wipe that smile off your face! :D
Oh yes.... don't put your feet down, and consciously watch out for the wide rear end at gas pumps, etc.!!!!

Welcome to the gang Ray. You won't regret the trike. When I started having trouble holding the wing up (bad knees) and wanted to go to a trike the wife bout had a stroke. Now that she is retired and has lots of time to ride while I work  she loves the trike because with the wing she couldn't ride if I didn't ride. Now she does PGR and Run for the Wall and all kinds of stuff I can't do.

I tried to upload a pics. I have my phone set on lowest quality and size, the album gate keeper here told me my file size was too big. I upload pics daily at trifive.com daily, that forum looks exactly like this one.

Will try to research it. I just uploaded this pic to trifive, I will see if it works here.
Will find the right place to post pics when I get it.
I think this is a hannigan trailer, it has a garment bag under kid, an ice chest covered in leather in front, and snap on leather in front of box.
Hi Ray and welcome. I live in Orangevale. Maybe we'll be able to meet up some time.
I'm always looking for more trikes out here. My trike is back in the paint shop at the moment. Hopefully only another week or so and I'll have it back.
