Hello from OHIO

Just become a Triker this summer {2008-Yamaha Royal Star Venture w/Tri-Wing Kit.
After over 40-years on 2-wheels my Wife talked me into getting a Trike. I guess she got tired of me falling over at stop signs.

Haven't had much luck, Week before I got the Title to the Trike I had to have my foot operated on so I haven't been able to ride. In 2003 I dropped my Venture in Indy and crushed my right foot. The Dr. said I would never be able to walk with out crutches and never ride again. 6-month of riding a wheelchair and I was back on my feet with the help of a brace.

Since then my Wife and I have rode over much of the US, but after 7-years the screws and wire holding my foot together came apart and I had to have it operated on. That was in June and I hope to be riding by September of this year. Damn I am looking forward to it. I am having new triple trees installed next week with 6-Degrees Trail so I will be ready. Guess I better get back to work.

Welcome from West Virginia!!! You're gonna love the trike....just takes a few miles to become accustomed to "driving" it and then you'll wonder why you didn't trike it years ago!! BTW....I got my last speeding ticket in C-ville on Rt23 about 17 years ago!!!

Bob, at least that is better than my wife wanting me to get a third leg. I keeping falling over after a few beers. (yes Nana, I know that is so wrong)
Seriously, I hope your foot heels well without any problems. May you have many miles of great triking. Hope you will join us for our next rally in Maggie Valley, NC next June.
