Hello and good evening.

Good evening everybody I am new to this site I have a question for all you folks I am in the process of planning some big investments was wondering if any body uses a toyhauler to haul there trike was concerned they might bottom out on top of ramp and what any recommendations anybody has. I am looking at a goldwing with motor trike kit and maybe a grand design fifth wheel toyhauler or one of the other brand luxury coaches. Look forward to your experiences.

Mark, welcome to Trike Talk Forum from West Virginia.:wave4:

Unless you have a specific way to change the angle of the door, most trikes will drag when transitioning from the ramp to the trailer floor. If you could somehow change the attitude of the ramp while the trike was still on it you could reduce the angle. Some folks will jack up the tongue, raise the front to change the angle of the floor. Whatever you do, remember the trike weighs over 1200lbs.

Howdy Mark! :wave4:

First,,, Welcome to TT. With the 5th wheel,(power legs would be a big plus) then if you cant get the ramp with the fold over extension, put a 2-4 inch thick block under each leg & raise the trailer (wheels blocked) & try to load ,having someone watch your clearance.
